We invite you to express your interest in becoming a committee member to share your views about how we can improve the primary health system in our region of the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith local government areas.
Primary healthcare is the first point of healthcare delivered by people like doctors and allied health professionals (such as physiotherapists and dietitians) – and is provided outside of hospitals.
We are looking for:
- Consumer representatives: people living in the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith areas aged 18 years or older, who are regular users of healthcare services, or care for people regularly using healthcare services.
- Healthcare professionals and service providers: who work as private practitioners in the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith areas.
In addition to online consultation through this HealthHub, we have a range of consultative committees that rely on the input of local health professionals, service providers and consumers to help shape our strategy and activities.
